Fybogel Mebeverine is for the symptomatic relief of:
Abdominal Pain and Bowel Dysfunction associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Adults and children over 12 should take Fybogel Mebeverine half an hour before a meal, one sachet in the morning and one in the evening, or as prescribed by your doctor. An additional sachet may be taken before the midday meal if necessary.
NOT recommended for children under 12
Each single dose sachet of granules contain 3.5g Ispaghula husk and 135mg mebeverine hydrochloride in an orange flavoured base containing aspartame, potassium and sodium. (see leaflet for further information)
Do not take fybogelorange if: your doctor has told that you are suffering from a blockage of the bowel wall (intestinal obstruction of faecal impaction) or muscle weakness of the bowel wall (clonic atony) or your doctor has told you that you have phenylketonuria because the product is sweetened with aspartame or you are allergic to any ingredients.WHAT SIDE - EFFECTS MAY OCCUR? Due to the increased fibre intake of your diet you may experience flatulence or bloating during the first few days of taking Fybogel Orange .These effects should lessen as you continue to take Fybogel Orange. If you find these symptoms particularly trouble some you can take just one dose of Fybogel Orange for a few days. If you have any other symptoms after taking this product tell your doctor or pharmacist. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN Do not use after expiry date.Do not take fybogel orange without water.
